She Tried Every Fad Diet

I've worked with clients who have done every fad diet out there. Cutting carbs. Extreme calorie deficits. Quick fix programs promising fast results. None of it lasted.

What Changed for One Client

One of my clients recently had a shift. She finally started eating enough protein consistently, and she noticed something she hadn't felt in years. More energy. More strength during our sessions. A body that actually responded instead of fighting her. She couldn't believe the difference and guess what, she's over 65 years old! She wishes she had started earlier and she's not the only client who has said that to me. So, no matter what age you are or where you're starting from, you can make real changes to support your body and feel great!

Why Slow Progress Sticks

Fad diets might work fast but they also disappear fast. Real, sustainable change moves slower, but it stays forever. My client now has set routines and habits she can maintain, not a 30 day plan she has to abandon and restart every few months. Instead it's a real life plan she can stick to daily, understand how to make pivots for her real life and not feel stressed about the choices. This was all learned through our coaching sessions and her willingness to put her health and wellness as a priority. Some of her best changes were: having more water throughout the day, protein at each meal, limiting sugar and starting a bedtime routine.

She told me she would never go back to quick fixes. Not because she lacks willpower, but because she finally has something sustainable instead.

Why This Approach Actually Works

Slow, steady progress isn't the backup plan. It's the plan that works. It builds habits that survive real life, not just a good week. Understanding why you eat a certain amount of protein, or fibre or carbohydrates is the foundation you need to see lasting results long after my clients are done sessions with me. Here is a real life example of how my client changed her eating habits over time: Breakfast Before: nothing on some days, or maybe a piece of toast with peanut butter Breakfast now: 3 egg omelette with turkey bacon, mushrooms, spinach, and avocado. Lunch Before: Ceasar salad Lunch Now: Burrito Bowl loaded with: spinach, chicken, black beans, rice, cucumber, peppers, salsa, cheese and pumpkin seeds. Dinner Before: Pasta with tomato sauce Dinner Now: Lentil pasta and tomato sauce with ground beef, garlic, onion, and zucchini. These simple changes have allowed her body to be fuelled well, build muscle and boost her energy. You can grab my FREE Protein Guide here to start the changes and if you need more support book a free 15 minute call here.
