Even I Needed a Coach. Here's Why That's Not a Weakness.
Don't feel like reading? Listen to the short audio instead
After my miscarriages, I was so broken I couldn't even program a workout for myself. Me, a trainer with years of experience, couldn't figure out my own plan. So why does the average mom think she can figure this out alone? Why do you put that pressure on yourself? I'm here to explain why you shouldn't stress about that and how to create a plan that actually works!
What I Did Instead
I reached out to a fellow trainer and asked for support. She built a simple routine for me to follow. It was all exercises I know, but since she programmed it for me, I actually followed it. It helped me out in a hard time of life and was more helpful than the plan I tried to write for myself. I did that program for a short period of time and it gave me the boost I needed to get back into exercise and confidence in my body again. Once that first hurdle was done, my consistency was so much better and the results followed. Now I create all my own programs again and build them for my clients and love doing it!
Why That Made the Difference
There's something different about following a plan built for you personally versus trying to build one while you're already overwhelmed and if it's not your expertise. It removes the guesswork. It removes the decision fatigue. It just leaves you with one job: show up and follow the program. That's what I needed years ago and it's ok if that's where you are right now. As moms we don't have to do it all and outsourcing your exercise program is a great option!
How the App Became My Tool
When I created my app through Everfit, I gave myself and my clients that same structure. Weekly workouts, laid out with videos and it's easy to follow. No guessing what to do each day. Just consistency, until the results showed up. And it's great that the app also has daily healthy habits, meal planning and more! It's truly the best all in one app to support people towards their health and fitness goals.

Asking for Help Is Not a Failure
If you've been trying to figure this out completely on your own, that's probably part of why it's felt so hard. You don't need to build your own plan from scratch, especially if you didn't go to university for Human Kinetics like I did. You need a tool that builds it for you and a coach that supports your journey, answers your questions and keeps you accountable.
Let the App Do the Planning
You don't need more willpower. You need a system you can follow without thinking too hard about it.
