Frequently Asked Questions
Have questions about how to work with Kerri? Check out these frequently asked questions below.
What kind of coaching do you offer?
I offer 1:1 strength, nutrition and lifestyle coaching for busy moms in person at my studio gym near Elora Ontario or virtually through zoom.
I also provide an app you can use as an add on to 1:1 sessions or on its own. This includes personalized workouts, nutrition guidance, daily habits, and ongoing support, all designed to fit real mom life, not unrealistic routines.
How does coaching through the app work?
You’ll be coached through my app Everfit, where everything lives in one place:
-
Your workouts
-
Daily habits
-
Nutrition guidance and food logging
-
Messaging and check-ins
You don’t have to juggle multiple platforms or guess what to do, it’s all laid out for you.
How are the workouts designed?
Your workouts are:
-
Strength-focused
-
Short and effective (20–40 minutes)
-
Designed for your experience level
-
Adjusted as you progress
Whether you’re newly postpartum or a few years into mom life, workouts are tailored to where you are right now based on the info you provide in the intake form.
Do I need a gym?
No and yes 😄
I can program workouts for:
-
Home workouts (with minimal equipment)
-
Gym-based workouts
-
A mix of both
We’ll choose what works best for your schedule and access.
Do you provide nutrition plans?
I don’t use rigid meal plans or calorie tracking.
Instead, I coach you on:
-
Eating enough (especially protein)
-
Building balanced meals
-
Fueling for energy and strength
-
Creating sustainable habits around food
You can log food in the app if helpful, but the goal is awareness and consistency, not perfection.
Is this a “diet” program?
No. There’s:
-
No extreme dieting
-
No cutting out entire food groups
-
No guilt or shame
This is about learning how to eat in a way that supports your energy, strength, and lifestyle long-term.

I’m postpartum, is this safe?
Yes. Coaching is designed with postpartum bodies in mind.
Programs are adjusted based on:
-
Your recovery stage
-
Core and pelvic floor considerations
-
Sleep and stress levels
-
Your energy on any given week
If something doesn’t feel right, we adjust, simple as that.
How much time do I need?
Most moms train 3–4 times per week, about 20–30 minutes per session from home or at their own gym.
Daily habits are intentionally small and realistic because consistency matters more than intensity. If you decided you want sessions 1:1 with me, then they are scheduled as 30 or 60 min sessions.
What kind of support do I get?
You’ll receive:
-
Ongoing 1:1 messaging support through the app
-
Community Support System through the app
-
Weekly written check-ins through the app
-
Program adjustments as needed
-
Guidance when life gets busy (because it will)
You’re never left wondering if you’re “doing it right.”
Who is this coaching for?
This is for you if:
-
You’re a busy mom who wants to feel strong and confident again
-
You’re tired of starting over
-
You want structure without overwhelm
-
You value support and sustainability
Who is this NOT for?
This may not be the right fit if:
-
You want extreme weight-loss challenges
-
You prefer rigid rules and strict tracking with numbers
-
You’re looking for a quick fix instead of long-term change
-
If you cannot use technology or apps without feeling frustrated
How long is the commitment?
Coaching is typically offered in multi-week or monthly blocks, because real change takes time.
Details and options will be discussed during your consult so we can choose what’s best for you.
How do I get started?
The best place to start is by booking a consult or reaching out directly.
We’ll talk about:
-
Your goals
-
Your schedule
-
What support you need
And see if coaching is the right fit.
